Sacred Heart is proud to be a Catholic School where faith values are central to everything we do. Our learning community is embodied by both our school and parish.
“We provide a warm and welcoming environment where your child is always at the centre.” Principal Kerry Paxton
I extend a heartfelt welcome to you and your family. It is a privilege to work in partnership with our students, staff, families and parishioners as Principal of this wonderful Catholic school. I am committed to leading our school community to enable us to work together to achieve our goals and to develop and shape our students through faith-based experiences.
Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Pymble is a Kindergarten to Year 6 co-educational school with rich traditions and a strong sense of community. We are a systemic school within Catholic Schools Broken Bay, and we pride ourselves on positive, connected relationships with our parents and the broader community. Our school has a strong foundation in the Mercy values, building on the work of The Sisters of Mercy from North Sydney, who began teaching in Pymble in 1893.
At Sacred Heart, we aim to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment that is built on meaningful relationships and the valuing of every person. We care for and appreciate each of our students as the unique individuals that they are, each with distinct talents, interests and needs. We strive for high academic standards, aiming to maximise the learning growth for every student while also building a sense of belonging and collective responsibility. We foster collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement in a learning community that also celebrates diversity and human flourishing.
We invite you to explore our website to gain a snapshot of what our school offers and the opportunities we provide for each student to find their purpose, reach their potential and thrive.
I believe that choosing to enrol your child at Sacred Heart will be both rewarding and fulfilling, and you will experience the warm and welcoming environment where your child is always at the centre. I look forward to meeting you personally and walking beside you as we support your child to be their best selves.
If you would like to call or make an appointment to take a tour of the school, do not hesitate to contact our school office.
